Is your next birthday a milestone? Or maybe you’re sharing your birthday with a friend or family member, and you want to create a party to remember? If so, food truck catering is the perfect option to silence the hunger of your guests and leave them raving!
Here at El Chivi, we love catering for birthdays. From your 18th to your 80th we have catered them all. Our unique looking food truck can access a range of different locations, from public spaces to private property, so no matter where you’re holding your birthday event, we can cater!
El Chivi can serve a variety of catering options depending on your audience, from our Chivitos, to smaller, non-traditional sandwiches (but equally as delicious!) and sliders. Just contact us to discuss your needs and we’re happy to chat.
We even offer dessert options if you’d like a full three course meal, with Churros and Ice-cream both options that we can serve. Your birthday party will leave your guests feeling full, satisfied and have them talking about your event for the years to come!
With travel included up to 35km and everything cooked fresh on site, get ready to impress your guests.

How much does birthday catering cost?
From $30 per guest for our standard package, up to $50 per guest, with sides at $5 per guest. All packages carry a minimum spend starting at $1800 + GST.
Can you cater at my house?
Yes. The truck is self-contained with its own kitchen and power, so we can park in a driveway, on the street or at a park – we just need vehicle access and space.
How many guests do you cater for?
From around 40 guests up to 200+. We serve up to 150 chivitos an hour, so nobody waits long.
Do you cater 18ths and 21sts?
Yes – milestone birthdays are some of our most popular bookings, from 18ths and 21sts through to 50ths, 60ths and 80ths.
Can you do dessert as well?
Yes. We offer churros and ice cream as a dessert add-on, or as a standalone dessert service.
What about dietary requirements?
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options are all available. Let us know your numbers when you enquire.
How far in advance should I book?
Around four weeks is ideal. Weekends in peak season (October to April) fill much earlier.
